The Hunger Games

For the theatrical release of the hotly anticipated film The Hunger Games my team was tasked with creating a coordinated banner ad/site skin/OPA pushdown with rich media elements. The evocative imagery of the film was used to create an ad the literally burned up the page.

The initial state of the ad featured large imagery and rich media elements. After a set amount of time without user interaction the top ad (OPA) would collapse.

Expanded Banner State

Coordinated with the skin was a standard sized rich media banner that would expand to reveal similar content to the OPA.
The Hunger Games Site Skin

In its collapsed state the ad is still evocative and increases brand awareness even without direct user interaction.
